** Description changed:
I have a host with 2 guests running in kvm. The host and one of the
guests are fine, however the other guest freezes every day with multiple
tasks blocked. Here is the summary of tasks blocked:
May 19 05:21:28 oracle kernel: [81720.140198] INFO: task events/0:6 blocked for more than 120 seconds.
May 19 05:21:28 oracle kernel: [81720.203998] INFO: task kswapd0:28 blocked for more than 120 seconds.
May 19 05:21:28 oracle kernel: [81720.213406] INFO: task bacula-sd:1577 blocked for more than 120 seconds.
May 19 05:23:28 oracle kernel: [81840.220179] INFO: task events/0:6 blocked for more than 120 seconds.
May 19 05:23:28 oracle kernel: [81840.239743] INFO: task kswapd0:28 blocked for more than 120 seconds.
May 19 05:23:28 oracle kernel: [81840.249257] INFO: task bacula-sd:1577 blocked for more than 120 seconds.
May 19 05:25:28 oracle kernel: [81960.250187] INFO: task events/0:6 blocked for more than 120 seconds.
May 19 05:25:28 oracle kernel: [81960.270740] INFO: task kswapd0:28 blocked for more than 120 seconds.
May 19 05:25:28 oracle kernel: [81960.280382] INFO: task bacula-sd:1577 blocked for more than 120 seconds.
May 19 05:27:29 oracle kernel: [82080.720222] INFO: task events/0:6 blocked for more than 120 seconds.
I believe the culprit is bacula-sd since bacula is set to run backups
every morning and that is when I notice the freeze, coupled with the
fact that none of my other machines running 10.04 are having an issue,
including the other virtual guest. This machine is the only one running
bacula-sd.
I will attach system information and logs soon.
