Public bug reported:
While trying to run a python program, the program kept terminating and
saying "read-only file system"
dmesg initially said something about resetting the hardware interface...
I rebooted, and the problem seemed to go away, but then it came back
again, and started throwing the errors below:

Ubuntu 2.6.28-18.60-generic
This computer has a huge RAID drive (4.1TB), but I can't provide more information because someone else set it up.
