I can confirm the workaround of #12 (acpi_osi=Linux
acpi_backlight=legacy)

Having a standard Acer Extensa 5635Z with Intel T4300 and 2 GB RAM.
Monitor shall have a LED backlight.

Is there any further info I may provide for faster bug fixing?
