Thinkpad X22 with ATI Radeon Mobility M6
No /etc/X11/xorg.conf is used.
This system used to suspend and hibernate without a problem in 9.10.

The desktop is equipped with nVidia GeForce 7600GT
Again, no /etc/X11/xorg.conf is specified.
>From the System>Administration>Hardware Drivers, there are only 3 drivers available: version 173, version 96 and version current which is currently in used as well.  But 3 of them show that their licenses are Proprietary and I couldn't find the nouveau open source license driver.
