I know it's working fine here too, as long as no sd-card is inserted (it's seems to be sufficient to umount the device before suspend). Suspend worked like a charm in karmic, even with sd-card mounted. I recompiled my kernel with extensive event-, kernel-, acpi-debugging etc., but i only get pretty unuseful messages or even no errors at all...
