The r8192se_pci driver seems a bit flaky in general.  I would appreciate
it if someone familiar with wireless driver code would take a quick look
at the r8192se_pci code and tell me if it is, in fact, a disgusting
collection of kludges, as I am beginning to suspect that it is.
