Public bug reported:

Over the past week I've experienced three episodes where my wifi
[seemingly] spontaneously stopped working and kacpid simultaneously
began using 100% cpu. I have an HP 530 laptop running 10.04 and kernel
2.6.32-22-generic. This wasn't happening with the previous kernel, so I
can only guess that it's a regression in the latest kernel update.

When I reboot, things are back to normal. Doing a suspend then resume
fixes the kacpid but not the wifi, even if I disable and re-enable
wireless in the network manager.

I had a similar issue on a different machine a couple years ago
(intrepid-jaunty-?), which I think went away with a kernel upgrade.
