Seems openSuse no more better at the moment: I tried 11.2 in a
Virtualbox... and the kernel config is not there anymore: Maybe
forgotten in some update? And it seems this is not in 11.3 at the moment
too.

But it seems, at least, they care about bugs because reopening this one in opensuse trigger some action quickly:
