I think ridgerunner's analysis of this as 2 bugs is spot-on.

Can I just confirm that none of the following has fixed this for me:

- installing latest isight-firmware-tools
- completely purging isight-firmware-tools
- flushing PVRAM
- compiling new uvcvideo
- installing upstream kernel

Any other ideas?
