That commit is not working for me either. I downloaded the snapshot of
the commit and merged the iwlwifi directory into the latest compat-
wireless daily snapshot, compiled, installed, and rebooted but wireless
is still only reaching around 1.5mbps. Maybe this isn't the correct way
to do this? I also tried "sudo iwpriv wlan0 set_power 7" but it just
returned "wlan0     no private ioctls."
