** Description changed:

- on ubuntu lts10.04. i cant hear the any form of audio of any audio
- source. video and audio are playing like fastforward that too doesnt
- gives any audio output. tried to open a mp3 in google chrome.. that too
- results me the same... video are running at 8x speed..( i have tried to
- play a song from websites)... but its normal on windows 7...i am using
- sony vaio vceb14en E series latop.. please help me...
