Running Ubuntu 10.10 RC 32bit.
Using 260.19.06 nVidia proprietary drivers
with an nVidia GeForce GT 240 1GB PCIe graphics adaptor.

On startup and shutdown the nice Ubuntu logo is not shown
and ugly texts of background processes are shown.

Hope you can fix this soon!
