I just rebooted. The error on the screen that shows as ubuntu boots is
as follows:

" udevd-work[94]: '/sbin/blkid -o udev -p /dev/sda2' unexpected exit
with status 0x000b "

btw, the report was submitted from the bug reporter application “util-
linux”, which is why it is filed under that. A moderator can perhaps
place it in it's appropriate location.
