Public bug reported:

Greetings All,

I've recently upgraded to Maverick (10.10 x86-64) from Lucid (10.04
x86-64) and notices that a few of my custom key bindings that functioned
perfectly under Lucid no longer seem to function under Maverick.
Specifically these key bindings where as follows:

Key Combination Command
XF86Display (Fn+F7) xset dpms force standby (switches display into standby/off)
XF86MonBrightnessUp (Fn+F6) nvclock -S +10 (increases display brightness by 10%)
XF86MonBrightnessUp (Fn+F5) nvclock -S -10 (decreases display brightness by 10%)

As I say, these key bindings worked fine within Lucid (and Karmic) but
no longer function. I have no idea how to 'check under the hood' as it
were, so if anyone would be kind enough to direct me as to how monitor
these key strokes to see what exactly is or is not going on I'll gladly
post the output here.

Kind Regards,

Lee.
