Public bug reported:

got a memory type error around this time,
so maybe that has something to do with it...

512 MB machine, forking install stuff,
running with no swap space, iirc.
as battery is bad/ 15% capacity, old or broken comes up so much
and power cord to the machine is frayed and going so everytime
it bounces, I move some and go to the bathroom, get food, etc
it would be suspending/ hibernating, but luckily without a swap
it just generates bug reports for you all 8-/

OK how to reduce the memory requirements?
i made a little script to stop some services
I'm not running much else,
but not running text console mode or single user,
as I think update-manager is a gui app only,
though not too sure, seem to recall doing something
different on some other upgrades (possibly to devel release?)

anyways, you can probably ignore this error,
but my comments on the process may jar someone
into thinking a little diffferently about the process
and requirements for us lusers out here,
just hoping it all works despite our impoverished
(6+ year old machine) albeit 64 bit, it's not virtualization
chip supported, and so many hard use, hard luck
problems, maybe I should just get an android 8-/

ok it's late, and field only says Further Information,
not rambling rants, life story, and totally OT...

Night, Night
