Okey, so we try again after this page ate my post.

I have the same trouble, with the same model (Acer Aspire 6935).

It happens with every resume, usually I get a mouse pointer on a black
screen, and nothing more. The fan will go for full speed, but nothing
happens. Or I can get an IRQ-error:

irq_stat 0x00000040, connection status changed
SError { DevExch }
exception Emask 0x10 Sact 0x0 SErr 0x4000000 action 0xe frozen

I've added two versions of a dmesg dump, /proc/cmdline and /etc
/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume, one for either type of problem.

If any more information is required, let me know and I'll see what I can
do.
