Same issue here on a Dell Inspiron 1150 which has a Pentium 4 2.8GHZ
with Intel 852/855 graphics. The only solution I've found so far was to
downgrade the kernel (2.6.35-rc5). There's also another bug report here
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/662946 and there's
a modded beta 2.6.36 which also fixes the issue. Problem for me is that
my wireless doesn't work under both 35-rc5 and the modded beta 36.
