Binary package hint: linux-backports-modules-alsa-lucid-preempt

in 10.04 everything works like a charm but to solve a mic issue (no mic
selector shown in pulseaudio control pannel) i had to inslall linux-
backports-modules-alsa-lucid-preempt, so every time i try to start jack
control i get an error window saying:

could not connect to jack server as client.
- overall operation failed.
- unable to connect as server.
please check the messages window for more info
