  On my IBM thinkpad R50e i try the lastest livecd of 10.10 beta 
  I can't see the mouse pointer but i know it works , i can left/right click and see popup menu
  i try ubuntu xubuntu and other distro with this problems
  
  9.10 version work fine on this laptop (10.04 have the black screen of
  death bug)
