Hi,

Fingerprint is just not working despite all changes made according to that documentation : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/fingerprintgui
I also tried thinkfinger and that's the same.
The problem is (i think) that the device is not recognized under Ubuntu.

I have a "No devices found!"  in fingerprint devices

And the same with Thinkfinger :
