I fixed it removing network-manager (from http://ppa.launchpad.net/network-manager/trunk/ubuntu/ ) and use wicd
10.04 Linux *** 2.6.35-19-generic #25-Ubuntu SMP Wed Aug 25 02:12:44 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux
