[Bug 636440] [NEW] Thinkpad T30: Garbled screen on resume attempt

Public bug reported:

I tried to execute snr-001 from
http://testcases.qa.ubuntu.com/Plans/LaptopTesting with 10.10-beta i386
on a Thinkpad T30 (see
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/Laptop/Reports/IBMThinkpadT30 for
Details).

After resume, the screen was completely garbled:

- Part of the desktop background could be seen in the upper part
- White area in th left lower part
- Mouse cursor also visible, but mouse movement was not possible.

Switching to Text console and back did work though.
