oh, and please note that we can not change the deamon.conf file from any
packages but pulseaudio itself (and i assume the flat-volumes = no is a
required setting on other arches) if we need to do overrides like that,
i think emmets way of using the alsa initalization framework is the best
way to go here (default.pa should be fine once teh multi-config patch is
in pulse)
