The same problem is still occurring, this time with Ubuntu server
10.04-1 64bit on HP Proliant DL 380 G6 with 3 HDD configured with RAID
5.

"The installation was smooth but on first reboot the server displays the
following messages and halts:

Attempting Boot From CD-ROM
Attempting Boot From Hard Drive (C:)"
