To reproduce bug:

- clean install ubuntu 10.04.1 (using i915.modeset=1 , seehttps://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/Bugs/Lucidi8xxFreezes )
- System -> Preference -> Powermanagement
  * set laptop lid close-action to "blank screen"

I ran apport-collect 462939 to get above infos
