Bryan,

Would love to try, but I can't find imx51 version online and have never 
cross-compiled before. 

Do you have the kernel lying around or some clues on what to do?

Thanks a lot. It looks like it suspend successfully, but cannot resume.

Could you try upstream kernel 2.6.36+rc3?

Since the update of the fec driver in the imx51 kernel, suspend/resume is known 
to not be working.
