Binary package hint: xorg
Touchpad does not work on my Sony Vaio VPCF12M1E.
There is a kernel message about it, which says to add kernel boot
argument "i8042.nopnp" to get it to work, which it actually does.
It should probably be forwarded to the kernel team anyway.
Feel free to ask for more information if required.
Hope it helps.
