Are you able to boot to X from the 10.10 beta CD? I have a *similar*
machine: DELL 6510, Intel CPU, full HD display. However, 10.10 beta
boots (from the CD) to a blank screen. I am running the RC5 2.36 kernel.
To get to X (graphical display) at boot time and after resuming from
suspending I have to press: CTRL+ALT+F1 and then CTRL+ALT+F7.
