1) Sorry, I meant Intel GPU (Intel integrated graphics). No NVIDIA here;
it's really Intel. Additionally, my processor is core i7 and my bios is
A03.

2)  I have been following the discussion in
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=29278 but I have to say
that most technical details there are beyond me.

3) I run the 64 bit Ubuntu. I tried the 64 bit 10.10 beta the day it was
released. I tried to boot from the CD using 10.10 but it booted to a
blank screen.

4) Are the 6410 and 6510 bugs different ones, or are they, deep down,
the same bug?

5) Is this a bug that affects all i5/i7 processors with Intel integrated
graphics or only the DELL 6410/6510 notebooks?
