Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.32-24-generic

Kernel linux-image-2.6.32-24-generic stops with "Error 16: Inconsistent
filesystem structure" just after GRUB, while previous kernels have no
problems and work. (2.6.32-22 and ever before)

I checked the root filesystem with fsck, found&fixed some minor problems
(but HEY! I did that on a computer where 2.6.32-24 works and fsck found
some filesystem problems too)

Harddisks are connected to "Hot rod 100 Pro" PCI IDE controller, one harddisk on each of 2 connectors.
/dev/md0 groups 1st partitions , used for SWAP.
/dev/md1 groups 2nd partitions, used for "/" (ext3)
/dev/sdb3 is mounted separately (ext3)

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Tags: regression
