Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: initramfs-tools
For a long time I've been following the "best practise" of installing
/boot/ into a separate partition, which normally is not mounted during
runtime. Obviously, this causes problems when automatic ubuntu updates
try to write files there. A warning should be added before the update
process, if /boot/ is expected to be mounted, but isn't.
