The problem has been localized, and it affects (at least) all nForce4 SLI
motherboards. It seems to be a kernel 2.6.10 bug, although some say that it's
actually a chipset issue. The ports are detected and devices function after
removing the ehci_hcd module, or if the kernel is downgraded from 2.6.10.

Is there any chance that this will be fixed in Ubuntu? I have upped the severity
to major, as many users are affected right now and many more will be as time
passes and these boards' prices come down.
