If you're referring to the 'alsa-source' package in Universe, yes, it does
support the Audigy 2 Value. A nice change was committed a bit over 41 hours ago
(and present in ALSA 1.0.9rc1) that brings 24-bit 96 kHz multichannel playback
to the Audigy 2 chipsets; unfortunately this is not present in the universe package.
