I've been keeping records[1] (bootchart) of my system ever since Hardy.
Keep in mind that I use mostly development versions (as opposed to stable) and that bootchart recently started to measure a bit earlier, plus I changed my bootchart script so that it keeps recording for a bit longer in other to measure the Desktop apps.
My system is a C2D 2.4GHz, 4GiBs RAM, NVidia 8400m G, 320GiBs SATA (with / ext3, /home XFS and 8GiBs /swap), currently running ubuntu jaunty.
