FYI this is for Karmic.  All of the patches looks like reasonable to me.
The only way to know they work appropriatly will be to apply them and
make some CD's out of them.

ACK from me for the whole series.  I will take responsibility for
getting them applied and tested.  I will wait a bit for any further
review.
