Please find the Karmic kernel repository at:

Since this is the development phase of this kernel version, it _will_ be
rebased on a frequent and undependable basis. If you plan to do
development against Karmic, then you'd best be skilled in the use of
git. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMaintenance is your friend.

Currently the i386 and amd64 versions compile. I've even booted the
amd64 server flavour. Note that the flavours for karmic are not cast in
stone. My goal for UDS is to establish a 32 bit generic PAE flavour and
drop the server 32 bit flavour (still need to write the blueprint for
that). Have a look at config options, let me know if you think they need
to be changed.

As you might notice by examining the git log, a number of the drivers in
the ubuntu directory are disabled. Any help with updates or compile
fixes are always appreciated. I'd even appreciate some advice on which
of those drivers are even still relevant (I did notice that et131x has
appeared in drivers/staging).

I've attached the list of commits, and what I did with them. For the
morbidly curious, the way I created the Karmic tree was to clone from
Jaunty, then interactively rebased against Linus tree.

original_picks.txt - Every commit in Jaunty that does not also exist in
Linus tree.

picks.txt - list of commits that were actually applied (except for those
listed in skipped.txt)

skipped.txt - commits that were skipped, either because of severe
conflicts, or were already upstream. You'll notice that skipped commits
include all of App Armor as well as the ARM Freescale patches.

upstream.txt - commits that should be sent upstream (clearly this list
is too short). There are a bunch more patches in picks.txt that could be
de-crufted and pushed upstream.
