You need a blank line after the commit subject lest the next line gets 
appended.

You'll notice that do_debug needs to be set if you do a full 'debuild 
-b' which fails when the debug package generation is attempted and the 
debian/control entry doesn't exist for linux-image-debug-2.6.24-24-lpia.
