As I understand the spread of Intel performance issues this GEM disable
patch is primarily aimed at performance issues triggered by the A17
swizzle preventing Tiling from being enabled.  Neither of the two patche
sets I have submitted in this area would help there and the 'correct'
fix is a pretty huge patch.  I note that the patch as submitted doesn't
tell you that its aimed at the A17 issue however.
