Thanks for the heads up.  I started noticing a regression on one of my
test systems here last night [1].  It's already been raised upstream and
it seems Linus has committed a patched and CC'd stable already.  I'll
likely send a patch to pull in the following as pre-stable after I've
tested it a bit:
