I have pushed out three sets of patches I'd like to see in Alpha-3 if
possible. The first [1] is the patch to allow ureadahead2 to track the
utilisation of read-ahead pages. This set should be backwards compatible
with all curent consumers of mincore() including the old ureadahead.
The second [2] is a couple of locking fixes which seem to resolve the
races in boot which are leading to random crashing and us to drop to low
resolution mode most of the time. These should be considered significant
bug fixes for boot stability. The third [3] are the patches to allow us
to keep the contents of the grub screen through to plymouth starting.
These should have no effect unless specifically enabled either by the
kernel command line or via grub signaling.
Hope that all makes sense!
