Ubuntu ARM and the linaro kernels

the latter would work fine if the config alignment happens/stays and we
can get someone to commit to security ...

the former falls rather into the "experimental" category for me given
that the linaro trees are really bare upstream and most of the time wont
give us full HW support (as i understand it)
