Ok, I have not looked at the bug report itself. Might even be one I did submit.
And after the fourth pint I don't think it would make sense either. Ok, maybe I
should not even write emails then. Just my few cents here. There seemed to be
two problems for me:
1. the X driver refused to load when the cirrus kernel modules was loaded and I
think there was something said that this would be fixed by having an
x-use-kerneld-bla x driver.That part I could work around by blacklisting the
cirrus kernel module.
2. the desktop would never come up with the latest updates. And this seems to be
the effect of having unity2d removed since it is uncool but not having the new
fbsomthing pipe ready to work before doing so.
