Once this lands upstream, please follow up with a request to 
stable at vger.kernel.org that this patch be included in stable updates for 
the appropriate kernel versions. I assume 3.0+ ?

In the future if you add 'Cc: stable at vger.kernel.org' it will happen 
automagically.
