[REGRESSION][Raring] LP:1084783 Added To Kernel Team Hot List

Hello,

I've added the following bug to the Kernel Team Hot List:
LP:1084783

     * Upstream believes this is an Ubuntu specific issue.
     * The pata_acpi module is used instead of pata_jmicron in 3.6 and 
newer kernels.
     * I built a test kernel with CONFIG_PATA_ACPI unset.  This allowed 
the system to boot.
     * Suggestion from Alan Cox:

If anyone has some free cycles, it would be great if this bug could be 
reviewed.
