== Precise/Quantal SRU Justification ==

This commit introduced a regression in Precise and all newer kernels up to and including 3.8-rc3.  A formal request was sent upstream to have mainline commit 3d037774b reverted in mainline and all supported stable kernels.  

== Fix ==
Revert the following commit:
