It should resolve http://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1085351 and has already
been applied to our Raring kernel.  There is currently a work around for
enabling this device in Quantal so I feel it should be ok to wait for
this patch to come through your next extended stable release for this to
fully resolve itself in Quantal.
