Thanks Jamie.  From my team's perspective, I do see the new 9mo support
windows having reduced our maintenance burden by a small fraction.  With
the 18mo support windows, we agreed to support the HWE stacks for the
life of their natural release.  As an example, we would have supported
the 13.10 HWE stack until the April 2015 time frame.  With the new 9mo
support windows, we are able to reduce the HWE stack support windows to
just the first point release of the next LTS.  Using the same example,
we'll now only need to support the 13.10 HWE stack until the July-ish
2014 time frame.
