Hello,

I've added the following bug to the Kernel Team Hot List:

     * May be fixed in upstream v3.8.4
     * Waiting on request in comment #52
     * Added to hot list due to the number of people this affects.

If anyone has some free cycles, it would be great if this bug could be 
reviewed.
