== Saucy SRU Justification ==
Upstream commit 657445f introduced a regression. Upstream commit 657445f was a revert of upstream commit: 57c2196. However, the revert of commit 57c2196 introduced this regression in v3.10-rc2, which causes a black screen on the Asus ZenBook Prime UX31A. This has been reported by several people. The revert of commit 657445f cannot be done cleanly in Saucy due to changes introduced after commit 657445f. This patch is a backport that allows the revert to happen in Saucy. Also, this revert cannot be reverted cleanly against the upstream 3.12 kernel. Upstream has been notified of this bug, but no feedback has been received yet on whether or not this commit should be reverted in Mainline or stable releases.
