I have pushed a few linux-signed version skew prevention fixes to various
ubuntu-*-signed branches, in particular to the lts backports branches.
We have had a number of reports of these triggering uninstallable systems.

These ought to be utterly transparent but be aware of them when preping
your next ubuntu-*-signed uploads just in case the automation has a fit.
